I recently received an e-mail from someone that shall remain nameless (namely due to the fact I am pretty sure you all know who it is. hehe). I received an attack on a post i made awhile ago about evolution and allergies. So now i shall attack him and his worthless thoughts in a public forum... hehe

One thing I wanted to respond to one of your blogs
about how you don't believe in evolution because of your allergies. Hehe
just remember we stopped evolution a long time ago and allergies are
largely caused by our turboclean lifestyle of antibacterial soaps, etc.
There really wasn't any asthma or allergies 50-100 years ago. Then again,
they also had polio and smallpox, so that sucked. Eat dirty shit,
motherfucker, or don't spread your weak genes into the gene pool. Just
remember, there are only 3 statements to evolution. If you don't believe in
it, you should tell us which statement is false
1. Children resemble their parents
2. Some traits are more useful in a survival sense than others
3. organisms that survive longer have more children on average
Yeah go back to hell you religious fuck with your creationism. All hail
evolution theory!

So much to fight about where to start?
>3. organisms that survive longer have more children on average
I will fight this with the fact that i think dumb white trash has many more children on average now than intelligent people. This is for many reasons but some of the reasons are: Smart people are concerned with overpopulation, Women in educated families tend to have careers also and don't want to pop out kids starting at 16 and ending at 30, higher educated families are better with the use of contraceptives.
I think this will be easiest shown with an example. The Simpson’s is a wonderful and sharp satire of society. Cleatus the slack jawed yokel has like 12 kids. They are obviously making fun of the poor family with more kids than food. We all know the Simpson’s is always right so I will rest this portion on the argument.
>1. Children resemble their parents
I have seen some really hot girls walking around with really ugly parents. You have too. But I wont really argue this point there is probably some resemblance it is just hidden in things we don’t look at, like knee skin, feet, and shoulder blades.
>just remember we stopped evolution a long time ago and allergies are
>largely caused by our turboclean lifestyle of antibacterial soaps, etc.
>There really wasn't any asthma or allergies 50-100 years ago.
I have heard this theory before. I just have to go with life experience on this one. Perhaps this theory is true, in that case I will have a seizure. First cause by a, "turboclean lifestyle" if anyone has seen my room or living conditions at any point in my life I think they would have to give that I didn't have a "turboclean lifestyle." Even if you go with my parents old house it wasn't that clean. Then assume cleanliness and antibacterial soaps would lead to a lack of exposure that would cause the allergies. I am allergic to Dogs and Mold. Lets cover this, I was born into a family that had dogs. Hence I was always around dogs since the day I was born. Around puberty my body just decides to be allergic to something it has never been without. That makes about as much sense as waking up one day and being allergic to air. (Oxygen gets you high... hehe sorry) Then I mowed laws since i was like 10 and then around puberty because allergic to mold. Specifically the kind of mold that grows on grass. So the clean theory and the scientists that worked so hard on it can suck it.
So I will provide a new theory to fight evolutionism. It will be called I hate allergies and your theory blows. Basically it says that evolution actually picks at random weather to screw a person over or give them benefit and then evolution as a whole laughs it's ass off.

Evolution is a plausible theory. Be it still a theory because of all the Jesus freaks in the world. I think we should also have the theory of Christianity. If you're not fighting for evolution, and you're not fighting for God, who are you fighting for? In my opinion evolution doesn't really have anything to do with the three statements given by nameless in the e-mail.
Mirriam's Dictionary says: evo-lu-tion - (1) a theory that the various types of animals and plants have their origin in other preexisting types and that the distinguishable differences are due to modifications in successive generations.
(2) a process of continuous change from a lower, simpler, or worse to a higher, more complex, or better state.
What nameless is talking about sounds more like our genes passed along, or evolution discussed in a very narrow spectrum.
1.Children do resemble their parents, but your children also resemble monkeys and so do you.
2.Traits useful in any survival sense and those that aren't don't change between generations. Why do we still have appendixes again?
3.Organisms that survive longer do have more children. Fortunately there are only a few species on this planet that procreate for pleasure. Humans being one of them. You even said educated families are better with the use of contraceptives. This just says something about smart and stupid people having sex.
Evolution is very broad; it takes thousands and thousands of years. The idea behind evolution is to make things better. It's a constantly working process that I don't think can ever be "stopped" because that would defeat its whole purpose. We, as humans, are nowhere near being physically perfect and extremely efficient living machines. Trying to blame allergies on "turbocleanliness" or evolution are both retarded ideas. For one, I grew up in an anally clean home and I have no allergies whatsoever. Two, why would evolution cause allergies when it's trying to improve us?
In conclusion, no one is right. Not nameless, Dan nor I. Allergies are along the same lines as motion sickness. The inner ear sends information to our brain that conflicts with the visual clues of apparently standing still inside a car or airplane. This then somehow tricks our body into thinking there must be poision in us, so we better throw up. Why does it happen? Who knows, it's some cruel tick we play on ourselves.
Dan may hate throwing up and shitting out his insides, but I thought his blog about it was hysterical. Perhaps our allergies, or just Dan's, are for pure entertainment value.
