Alright my life has slowly been turning into my worst nightmare. I had one basic fear for the summer. That at some point all my primary entertainment contacts would have most of their blood sucked out of them. It started long ago so i must start at the beginning.
The first to fall to a feminine friend was Matt. This wasn't as large of blow due to the fact that Matt lives in fort Collins and everyone else was single at the time. (Also Matt had a girlfriend that owned him in high school so i was used to him disappearing.)
The second to fall was Jesse who was my other ft Collins friend. Since they are 1 hour away they are my friends to hang out with if all my people in boulder sell me out. So now my concert was what if i loose my primary two entertainers in Boulder, because now my back ups were gone.
This moves on to Scott who was quickly on the tales of Jesse, actually probably started developing first but not leading to a full blown attachment until a little later. This took out one of my roommates. Leaving me with one primary entertainment provider left.
Lastly Dom recently fell. He fell as he usually does hard and fast. He like many people is only about 35% as cool when he is in a relationship. Comments that used to be, "Yeah lets party, it's summer!" turn into, "You guys are drinking again?"
It would be really easy to hate things like mesquites if they sucked life out of my friends. It is much more difficult to get angry when all of the girls are genuinely nice. They are all friendly and fun people that i enjoy chatting with. This leads me to little or no solution.
So my worst fear has come true and now i need to come up with a clever solution. I have a few options that i am currently considering.
1) Dress up as one of the girlfriends that couldn't hang out that night. Show up and pretend to be girlfriend.
2) Send girlfriends on cruise enjoy 1 week of fun and hilarity.
3) Find myself a female companion. (working on it she called tonight)
4) Create new primary entertainment contacts
5) Cover myself in Jelly. JELLY!!!
In a serious note your life does really change when all your friends get in serious relationships. Suddenly there are new responsibilities. Less time to just do whatever. Less drinking buddies. Restrictions on use of house equipment. (ala if a couple is in the hot tub you don't join, if a couple is watching a movie on the projector you don't join. Nor do you watch a movie on a small screen because that sucks.) So for the time being I will have to be friendly with the alien invaders into my little world of wild and crazy things.

Smoker that is true, but you also work in Denver and are incredibly busy. The last two parties we had you couldn't make becuase of work and being tired from working all day. hehe True we should hang out some more though. Well i am done with school later today. peace.
