just a quick PSA

Public service announcement: I just watched the movie head of state. This has got to be the biggest piece of crap ever written and made. It is horrible. Chris rock isn't even trying to act in so many parts of it because he must have realized how bad it was going to suck. The budget must have called for chris rock and video cameras. The acting and everything was just horrible. It might have been funny if i was like 13 and on pain killers after having evasive surgery. Oh well. Just dont waste your time this isn't even worth renting.

Strangely enough, I went to Blockbuster the other day and I saw an entire section full of Head of State, around 40 copies I'd say. Where's the demand? Capitalism doesn't work, dammit!

Anyway, I don't feel sorry for you because if you watch lots of movies that look terrible, the chances are you will find ones that are terrible. Let me save you some pain by pointing out other titles that look disastrously awful, all of which derive their "humor" from playing with/enforcing/juxtaposing racial stereotypes - Bringing Down the House (also an entire secetion at Blockbuster), Malibu's Most Wanted, and the upcoming Michelle X.

I found Bringing Down the House pretty amusing.. even if it does derive its humor from playing with/enforcing/juxtaposing racial stereotypes.

Steve Martin and Queen Latifa are funny. Deal.
