I am leaving may 26th.
I fly into London... Then go to Paris... then Amsterdam... and finally Munich, Germany. I fly back from Germany and return on the 9th.
I am really looking forward to the trip. Have you ever been to europe? I have never been before, I am going with 3 of my best friends from high school.
Dave thanks alot for the camera offer, but I just bought a new camera today. I ordered it and a 512mb SD card so I can bring alot more music on the trip.

Hey Dan,
4 countries in 2 weeks, are you serious..?
I live in Munich; it's a cool city to visit, esp. in the summer. If you wanna know something about it (where to party etc) I can tell you.

Yeah we expect that it should be pretty busy trying to move around allot. We thought about seeing more but people strongly recommended agaisnt it. It shouldn't be bad though. A couple days on the train to catch up on sleep and a severe lack of sleep at all other times. Also, we aren't planning on hitting all tourist spots, only some that actually interest us.
I would love to know some stuff about Munich, what are your recommendations. I am sure we will try to go out partying at least some while we are there, also probably interested in art. You can leave me a post here or send me a email. Thanks alot.

my dad is english, so i have been several times. i like France best, because i can speak the language, of course, and also because everything is so...i want to say romantic, but that's not actually the word to describe it properly. it is...there are parks and greens and gardens and art galleries all over the place. there is so much opportunity to see so much and then to think about what has been seen, and then to write about it. i simply adore that. and of course, when i go, it's been on holiday, so there has been ample time to devote to these things.
this summer we are going to Italy, we being my family and i. i love family holidays because they are so much fun and really encompass the essence of utter absurdity. we don't leave until 4 June, though, so there's a bit of time between now and then.

that one above was me, s.l.f.r. - sorry. for all of my ablities with language and writing, i seem incapable of remembering to sing my name...or at least my initials!

no surprise to me that slfr can't remember to sign her intials. she had me confused for awhile but has given away her identity.
Truth is read the initials and noe of her comments before i may have to start reading her comments now, but i still want to know what the initials stand for.
Dan you forgot to get really drunk with me one night. Will we be exploring your special package before you go or after your return?

I have no clue who wrote that comment. Oh well... go them... If you give me a call we can try to party before i take off... If i know you...
S.L.F.R that is cool that you like paris alot. I think that anywhere can be romantic depending on what you make of it. Family holidays are really great, I think that is going to be one of the biggest things, I will miss since the family falling apart. I really thought we all four had a blast together when we all got the family together. Perhaps I will have to keep a trip journal. I am also going to try to update my blog while I am gone. So what is the number one thing to make sure I do in Paris?

romantic wasn't really the word...it was more...pensive, i think. i don't know. i just finished studying for an exam of the scientific nature, and so my brain feels somewhat dead. it's really a miracle i'm still coherent at all, really.
i think you need to go to Montmartre - i have never been, but i've seen pictures, and it is lovely. also, la place des Voges. if possible, of course.

Yeah I have had alot of people say I should visit, Montmarte. So I will try to do that. I am sorry your brain is dead. Are you done yet? Pensive seems to be an odd word to discribe a city... hehe
