Back on

Alright, I finally got back on to the web work, I have updated about every site I have tonight, and I am not done yet, So hopefully this motivation will last for a little while, so if your interested you should run around and see the updates I have on wastedbrains, programming, energy drinks, and pretty much everything else. So yippie for me and getting something done, a small and fleeting sense of accomplishment, but at least I did something and I am not feeling so crappy.

Thanks to everyone that came to the memorial day BBQ/Poker/Pictnary/Bowling/Bars/Craziness it was a good way to break my house in for its first real get together. There where grapes and gold fish everywhere, but it was definately worth it. I will do it again sometime and hopefully it will be nice enough that we can actually go swimming.

Programming Links

Since I haven't been putting much interesting up here of my own code lately I figure I could point you to some things of note and interest:

Java Form SpellChecking This is a great tool to allow users of your site or webapp to have access to spell checking much like from MS word.

Java Image Galleries Ever wanted a great image gallery solution?

Art of Illusion A cool 3d rendering studio entirely in Java.

A good webservices and JAVA XML tutorial with lots of basic information

Great Quote

Creatively concealed is sexier

yeah.... couldnt agree with your more.... Random girl from NY that I will never meet, or even have contact with.

Oh yeah we dont have to blame doctors or lawyers for rising health costs, apparently it is just very great insurance companies that doctors are legally required to have malpractice insurance, have raised the costs for no reason except to raise their profits... hmmm sounds like a government legalized monopoly to me..

Yippie for a little bit of funny during the weekend.

Last night I went out dancing and drinking with Jesse and My friend Krista, it was a good time. We will have to repeat our little trips to the dance clubs again soon.

this weekend

Well I have been making some good progress on my websites and coding stuff, which is good news. Anyways, Friday night I went out with a bunch of people from work, and did dinner, drinking, trying to pick up on some girls. It was a good time, probably dropped a bit more than I wanted on drinks, but it wasnt to bad.

Saturday I had to deal with some stupid problem with my apartment complex, but then I had some great little things to lift my spirits. Sometimes when your just having a bad day friends have great timing. I got a call from a friend in the middle of the day that putting me in a relaxing and peacefull mood. Then later that evening while reading I got a call from Krista (Christa, Xirsta) and she was swinging through denver and wanted to see my place. Se we went out got some dinner Jesse came over and we sat around cracked jokes and watched a movie. A nice simple night in with some good friends, and it was great.

Goodness gracious great balls of fire, I cant wait to move on from my current project at work which is extremely boring annoying and unsatisfying, but I will get to start something new soon.

Springfield Crew Video

This is a cool video my friend made that is funny and interesting... So if you havent seen the Springfield Crew Video Ben made here it is. It features a song by Yellow Card, Ocean Avenue, which kicks ass. It has an electric violinist who does back flips in the band. They are pretty damn good live too. I have seen them a couple times around colorado.

Computer Science Research Papers

I have definately violated some of these and I think it would be good for people that are trying to do some serious analysis to follow these I do hate nothing more when marketing makes grapsh that essentially lie. Anyways if you have a computer science or any science for that matter paper, these are great rules to go by to remain creditable.

the bachelor

I am going to Matt's Bachelor party next thursday.. I have to have a bachelor party planned and put together by the 14th of next month. I have a family trip in the middle somewhere, and I have a job with basically no vacation time saved up. So where does this leave me, mildy stressed highly busy, learning new things, lacking all sorts of funs, never in the same place for 2 weekends in arow.

So the speed of things lately has me feeling like I am on a fast race that wont ever end, and I know it will, but when it will the next thing I will know is that a month has passed by and I haven't even had time to think about anything let alone pay attention to my own thoughts and life. Oh well I guess focusing on that doesnt do much of anything anyways.

So lets see how well I make it through seeing two of my best friends get married, which will change more things than I want it two I am sure. I can say it is weird and it makes me wonder where I am in my own life.

anyways I guess I am right her, trying to be a good groomsmen and have some fun while I am at it, too bad it seems neither of the brides is providing a sufficent amount of single cuties at the wedding, so if your a friend of mine who secretly loves weddings contact me cause I might just be needing someone to bring to some wedding... hehe

Work work

If you have played warcraft 2 or 3 you should get a laugh from the title of this post if you think of it being said in an orcs voice.... hehe

Yeah so I am basically loosing it right now trying to figure out how i can fit in all the stuff i have to do in the next month. I am seriously behind on some stuff.

Work I have no vacation hours but I have TONS of trips that have to be made this summer. Not trips i am planning to go get away for a little while, weddings, family, and such. I have 6 days to get in 80 hours at work, which means I would have to work a little over 13 hours a day to make up all the time. So far that hasnt happened, so I am just falling further behind. So basically I am screwed and hoping they will let me take the trips on my sick time, which is already dangerously low (considering it is only at half of the year) thanks to me getting sick a ton lately. Oh well, I guess when your done with college summers aren't a nicer more relaxing time, they are a time that is busier with trips, beautiful days, and just as much work to do as you have any other time of the year. I'll get used to it.

Anyways so if I am seeming a little stressed, quick tempered, mean, or anything else I apologize. The plus side I am learning a ton of new stuff lately and they have had some work for me lately, it is far easier to put in long hours if you actually have something to do.

Yippie... i need to go clean my apartment.

Motion City Soundtrack

all are welcome and invited I am going to go to Motion City Soundtrack July 9th. It should be sweet I am dissappointed that I wont get to go to warped tour this year (stupid having friends getting married... hehe) It will be great to get to at least see Motion City Soundtrack when they come through because they are still one of my favorites... it have been over a year but if you know me I am sure you still know that......
