Recently a friend was in some need we talked a lot and they seem to a least feel better about the issue and have some ideas on improving things. Anyways, it is always nice ot know that your friends can talk to you, and that you can be there for them... I always thought it was a funny joke and a good statement from family guy...
Stewie: Knock, Knock Brian
Brian: who's there?
Stewie: me, Stewie and I will always be there for you...
Anyways, I am glad my friends are able to come to me, and that I can go to them when I have things I need to talk about. One of the simplest things you can do when lending an ear is help them to just realize they are not alone. In many cases they are upset about things and feel like they are the only one with those problems, when in reality alot of people may be suffering from similiar problems. Anyways, the recent experience just want to let me remind people that I can always lend an ear and listen...
For those with hard decisions to make... best of luck.
For those doing great right now remember the hard times you had in the past and reach out to someone in need.
With out a support group we can never be more than a single point of failure.
