I can hear clearly now the fuzz is gone. Wendsday night i went deaf in my left ear. Friday i started going deaf in my right ear at work. I hadn't told anyone because i felt like an idiot since it started after i used a que-tip and i thought i just ruined my own ears. I went to the hospital tonight and both my ears were impacted with ear wax. Not to big of a deal. My left was completely so i couldnt hear out of it at all... my right was just partically. Anyways it was a very odd and weird sensation to be particially deaf for two days. I like hearing in stereo. So yeah be careful with cue tips, but actually the doctor told me it was quite common and could have happened without me doing that eventually. It makes sense cause i never use cue tips and only used them because my hearing was seeming to get worse.
oh well so that scared me for a bit i thougth i would go deaf and now i am good... exciting.

My other friend after i emailed him this story told me it was because i didnt Q-tip often enough i had the problem, and i told him I asked the doctor that specifically and she still recommended not using them because over time you can cause slight hearing damage.

I am convinced that earwax works as an amplifier and makes people hear better. But the doctors explination seems valid too, i suppose constantly poking at your ear could cause small tears and hurt your hearing.

Word - glad you can hear again - that sounds scary.
We should have an evening of board games and debauchery to celebrate.
