Best Music of 2006

It is way late but I now officially know what the best music of 2006 was... Now when people ask me that questions I am prepared...

A little above my musical tastes, but always good stuff...

Best music of 2006, even though we are well into 2007.

Working saturday sucks

Sucks to work most of Saturday, but I guess that is what I signed up for. Also after my allergy attack I was in no condition to go skiing...Made good progress though, so rock and roll for that. I guess I still have a lot more to do and finish working on this weekend though... Lame.

Energy Drink News

Over at the energy drink site, we launched a new feature today, Energy Drink News. We now have categories and we have daily energy drink news posts. This will keep a bunch of what is going on in the market in one place with a little bit of my commentary so I can share my opinion on what is going on. This feature will hopefully help keep my ear to the ground in the ever changing world of energy drinks, and provide an invaluable resource to all of the sales, marketing, and other business people in the energy drink industry who spend time reading through my blog. The front page is now reserved only for Reviews, we also have a new energy drink preview section where I will make posts about drinks yet to hit the market but have been announced. So a couple exciting things going on at our little energy drink site.

Yeah so we aren't really classy but dancing and singing until pass 3 in the morning is always a good time... It is really fun to dance around when there isn't a person in the room who isn't dancing along with you...

It was much smaller than our last get together, but it was a great time, thanks to all of you that came, sorry to those who missed it.

Next up skiing...

St Pattys Day

I just got back from skiing for St Pattys day... Good times it was warm and beautiful out, the skiing was a blast, not the best snow, but hey oh well.

Erin just sent me a very weird site she found... Seriously it is a small and weird world... Apparently Erin and I were married in 2004, who would have thought. I guess you learn something new Every day.

Some of the earliest pictures I have of Erin and I hanging out together was from Patty's day a year ago, I think it might have been around our first kiss. Anyways good times and good stories I will miss her a whole lot for this years St Patty's celebrations...

Another thought

In calculated love...
Erin has asked for an equation of our relationship, (because I kept joking that the time she spent in Honduras didn't count towards our relationship) the first draft was completed but she is asking for some amendments, once finalize you will see it here, same Bat time same Bat channel.

Exciting News...
It is with great stress relief I look towards learning new things and working on interesting projects as I watch deadlines begin to slide by at work... Finalizing a contract... Started the first few lines of code for the company.

Clean freaks can keep it...
"Are you a slob? Do you pile papers on top of folders on top of game
boxes? Here's the thing that those anal neat people can't even
conceive of: you're more productive than they are. That's the
conclusion of "A Perfect Mess: The Hidden Benefits of Disorder," by
Eric Abrahamson and David Freedman, a new book that argues neatness is
overrated, costs money, wastes time and quashes creativity."

Taste the savings...
Our last energy bill - only $216. Much better than last month...

I guess I am getting old...
Erin Tuttle my first big high school crush suddenly got married over the weekend. Crazy.

Applications Applications Applications

Wow I am sick of applications, Ben is as well. We started on three applications last Saturday and have been writing a ton ever since then. As most of you know especially if you ever read this blog, writing is not my specialty. This means I have had to read and reread my paragraphs over and over with spell checks and grammar checks. Then since my writing is horrible anything I write has to go through Ben before it gets on the apps so it has to be even worse for him.

Anyways in writing we have more clearly defined our business plan, users, time line, strengths, weakness, and a whole lot more. So over all it was a good thing and we have learned a lot and feel more confident about our ideas, but when you want to start working on something and you want to code (we do have our first little bits of the program started) it is really hard to just focus on writing.

So yeah we were writing for 12 hours on Saturday and another 10 or so on Sunday but we are almost done with the applications which means soon we can get back to working on the actual project.

I also learned that the ads on my energy drink site have a CTR (Click Through Rate) that is 41.5 times better than the Facebook. I think that is something to be proud of, even if they are pulling in millions.

I am a Wii Tennis Pro

I haven't been playing a whole ton lately, but I have been trying to be better about being active for at least 30 minutes a day. So Ben and I our working out 3 times a week, which means I need to do something the other 4 days. So far I have been trying to play Wii tennis on those days and figuring it can't hurt. So I finally reached the pro level (1000 pts) for the first time earlier this evening. Yippie for being a Wii Tennis pro. Now I can apparently brag about my Wii skills... hehe

Next up I plan to start playing boxing a bunch until I can make it to a pro Wii boxer. I think that will be a little harder than making it to tennis pro. I know it will burn more calories in the same amount of time, because I start to sweat like crazy after a couple boxing matches. It should be a good time, and I can go way higher with my Wii tennis score, it looks like you can get a score of about double the pro level, so I am already facing much tougher opponents, now I just need someone to play against that will be a challenge, we got two wiimotes, someone want to become and tennis or boxing master? Challenge me?
