Car Registration

After the title to my car getting lost in a paperwork shuffle, many mailings and DMV visits, emissions tests, and $140 I finally have the car in my name registered in Colorado. Admittedly I could have taken care of this about two months ago, but at that point I wasn't sure I would be living in Colorado much longer so I decided to wait it out. I think this is the last of ties that had anything not in my name...

Thanks to Dom who helped get me directions after Google Maps led me to the middle of nowhere, which wasn't close to the emissions testing facility, and again when I got to a DMV that didn't do license plates.

So my week off has been about a bunch of little errants and shrinking my todo list, but I also got in more skiing than I have all year. We skied Copper Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The snow was amazing for this late in the seasons. It actually snowed on us some of the time which was perfect. We also got to spend the night in Vail to celebrate a good friends birthday party. Over all it has been a great week off.

My body is sore all over from skiing but in that good kind of way, honestly I think it was worse on Friday than it is after a few more days of skiing. I guess my body is getting used to it. Which I think means I need to try to work out more while I am ahead before I become lazy again, skiing is just way more fun than going on a run.

It is sad that I only got up skiing 5 times this year, and it is time to pack all of the gear away into the basement. I am hoping that with out a standard work schedule I can get up more next year, because the weekend crowds are crazy and one benefit of starting your own company is you make your own hours. I could easily work a Saturday to go ski on a Thursday.
