"If you signed an employment agreement in California, any non-compete clause in it is null & (void*), says the state Supreme Court of California (ruling PDF). Better still, the San Francisco Chronicle opines that the US Federal courts are likely to fall in line with the decision in the way they interpret California law. (Most other states still have non-compete laws on the books and it's not clear this ruling will affect them.)

Well it is 08 08 08, which is awesome, and I have a lot to do this weekend. The problem is I really don't know what the priorities should be. So I am trying to right now just clear up as many loose ends as I can. I figure the more little things I get done the easier it will be for me to figure out the priorities and really be able to focus on the bigger issues. One of my goals is to continue working on my Gyminee challenge. So I set out with a goal to finish in the top 10, and I have quite a bit of running to do that. So I just ran a mile tonight and I will be running both Saturday and Sunday to try to catch up...

Well today was frustrating. It was one of those days where you find far more problems than you fix.

It seems that there are a bunch of new issues popping up and it will be a stressful week trying to fix them all.

One task that I thought would be fairly simple actually turned out to be rather complicated, exposing one problem after another. It ate away a large chunk of the day. That is particularly bad, when I think I accomplished less chasing around this bug, than if I would have just started to focus on smaller pieces and fix them one at a time.

I think the next week and a half is going to be a very stressful and hard time, but hopefully everything will end up better for it. Wish me luck and don't expect much new on the blog in the next little while.

I also slept like crap last night, so hopefully tonight I will sleep better.

I have a new hobby, that will last until Pandora runs out of new recommendations.

I am listening to all the Flobots recommendations from Pandora and finding some interesting hip hop music with horns and such... Nice
